The Racist Americans

Yes, that is what the whole of India confirmed after the hate crime resulted in the death of  Srinivas Kuchibhotla. My sincere condolences to his family. After the call from a worried dad, I was appalled by the Indian media reports that is responsible for creating this kind of fear. Hence I thought, I should put some facts about 'The Racist Americans' which was reported and clear some air.

After Mr. Purinton started the racial abuse, he an american was escorted out from an american restaurant probably by a americans , which supported the Indians and protected their rights  - Oh! how racist.
After the firing started, Ian Grillot an american - stranger to both of the Indians - did put his life in the line to confront a killer armed with a gun - Oh! how racist.
After this unfortunate incident all of american media condemned the incident - Oh! how racist.
gofundme pages that was setup in support of the victims and families have already raised 1 million dollars and counting, there are lot of americans  that contributed to this fund, you can see the names on the funding page - Oh! how racist.

Now lets talk about the holier than thou. If one hate crime is a good enough reason for Indians to leave America and not to send your children, may I ask why do you send your children out in India when there are hate crimes happening in our own country. So you have plans to leave India and go to some other country?

Here in this entire episode I see 'The Racist Americans' who protected, defended and generously donated and would consider them and feel secure instead of looking at one or few of the 500 million who did a hate crime and live a fearful life. Not to forget the rest of Americans  who are still trying to get him the right punishment by the law.

The More ... The Less.....

This is a old one which I have read few times. We read but dont realise what it means. If you have some time, read it slowly and try to understand and realise what it means to miss the things we enjoyed once upon a time. No time for that too? May GOD help you out :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today we have bigger houses, but smaller families
More conveniences , but less time

We Have more degrees, but less common sense
More knowledge , but less judgment

We have more experts, but more problems
More medicine, but less wellness

We spend too recklessly
Laugh too little

Drive too fast
Get too angry too quickly

Stay up too late
Read too little

Watch TV too much
And ponder too little.

We’ve multiplied our possessions,
but reduced our values

We talk too much, love too little and lie too often

We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life
We’ve added years to our lives, but not life to our years

We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints

We spend more, but have less
We buy more, enjoy it less

We’ve been all the way to the moon and back
But have trouble crossing the street to meet our neighbors.

We’ve conquered outer space,
But not inner space

We’ve split the atom
But not our prejudice

We write more, learn less
Plan more, but accomplish less

We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait,
We have higher incomes , but lower morals

We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies
But have less communication

We are long on quantity,
But short on quality

These are the time of fast foods and slow digestion
Taller people, and short character

More leisure and less fun
More kinds of foods but less nutrition

Two incomes but more divorce
Fancier houses but more broken homes

Spend more time with your family and friends , eat your favorite foods, and visit the places you love .

Use your crystal goblets…do not save your best perfume for best…throw a party for no good reason.

Life isn’t only about survival … It’s about joy.

Do not delay anything that adds laughter and joy to your life.

Remove from your vocabulary phrases like “ one of these days “ and “ someday”
Let’s write that letter we thought of writing “ one of these days “

Let’s tell our families and friends how much we love them.
